Margro Farms
What we delivered
For Margro Farms, we designed and installed a 1.112 MWp solar park built from 1,808 JA Solar 615 W panels, arranged in 113 strings and feeding 38 Sigenergy SigenStor 30 kW inverters for 1,140 kW of total inverter capacity. The system is paired with a 1,824 kWh battery bank made up of 228 Sigenergy SigenStor 8 kWh LFP modules, creating a fully self-contained power plant.
The plant runs as a standalone off-grid system, operating independently of the utility grid with a Sigen Gateway C1200 coordinating all 38 inverters and a Sigen data logger providing real-time monitoring via the mySigen app. A diesel generator port is provisioned for optional future backup, and the system is ready for grid connection should approvals and infrastructure allow.
Our solution gives Margro Farms complete energy independence, supplying reliable, clean power day and night from solar and stored energy alone — removing reliance on the grid and diesel while giving the estate full visibility and control over its energy use.
